There is a new website that people are raving about currently.  Similar to the daily deal scrapbooking sites but new deals are posted 3 times a week and some have been lovely deals.  I am so kicking myself for not ordering the Ranger cargo case deal that I have been seeing in videos.  You can also earn money by referring friends.

I just wanted to post this here for anyone looking for a great deal and don’t mind signing up under me – Check it out!

just another haul – Life on the Scrappy Side

TGIF! I get so excited for Friday as its actually my Saturday. My work week is Sunday through Thursday. I have lots of card making planned today with my new papers I got yesterday.   When I order from a new store, I think I will start doing a review on them – the good, the bad, and the great!

I ordered from Life on the Scrappy Side.  Its a webstore and prices are very reasonable, most a lot cheaper.   Overall I am a happy shopper but I do have two minor complaints.  She has a lot listed in her store but I am unsure as to the fact that she actually has them in stock.  I ordered very early in the week, a Tuesday (4/27/10).  I would have hoped that it would have arrived by the weekend allowing for a day or two for packaging and the 2 days priority shipping.  I needed to complete a card box for someone who is carrying my cards and ended up having to do all the tab cutting by hand.  When I emailed for an update, I was informed that she was waiting on the cutting pads to arrive.   While not a major complaint in the grand scheme of things as she did get the order to me in about 9 days which on the craft store shipping/receiving meter is quite good, the reason I went to a small business is because I had hoped for quickness.   I would have liked to have known that there might be a wait, but I will know for the future and either e-mail before hand or expect it.

My only other complaint is my paper was 12×12 and just barely fit into the priority box it came in and I mean just barely and I don’t know if it happened while it was being packed or whether the pressure I had to use to get my hands into the box to peel the paper packs out did it, but the corner of the papers was slightly dog-eared or bent up.   It is a pet peeve of mine.  I keep my pattered paper quite nice and hate when that happens because it renders that corner kind of unusable for cards as you can never get it stuck down quite good enough or it wants to curl back up.  For what I paid for shipping for the flat rate large box, the box was not that heavy and probably could have been put into a standard shipping box and shipped regular priority for the same.

Overall though, I would order again though but just know what to expect in the future.

To see what I got, check out:
