100 Subscribers on YouTube!! Giveaway

Posted by on Jul 4, 2010 in Giveaway, Videos | 0 comments

Finally, 100 subscribers on YouTube!  Over the last week or so, I got to 100 subscribers which is pretty cool.  Youtube doesn’t give out anything special for the milestone or anything, its just kind of a personal thing.  Anyway, I thought that it was high time to do a give away.  To qualify, you have to be a subscriber to my channel on youtube and post a comment in the comment section on the giveaway video.  Posting ends on Saturday 07/10 at 11:59 p.m. and I will draw the winner on 07/11.

Its not a huge amount of stuff or anything and I likely have some more items I will throw in but I hope you like them.  Check out the video below or click here to leave a comment to be included in the drawing.

New Vintage Digital Collage Sheets

Posted by on Jun 20, 2010 in Collage Sheets, featured, Organizing | 0 comments

I hope everyone has been having a great weekend. I haven’t had any new videos lately but I will be doing some hopefully tomorrow. We have been in the middle of an office redesign to try to give both me and my hubby more space. We both are artsy and he is okay creating in a messy space. Left to his own devices, the room would be a total disaster. I, on the other hand, go into shut down mode in a mess, so I win! LOL.. I will have to post some pics when it is finally all done.

I did get some time at nights to work on some digital collage sheets which I have wanted to do for quite some time. They are very time consuming but I can’t wait to use them in my own scrabble/glass tile jewelry and ATCs. I have three of them up for sale in my etsy and decided to add a page here. If your interested in purchasing them, please check out the link the the title bar or visit my etsy at

I can’t wait to start my next one. Take a look at some of the samples (full image page is on the collage sheet page).

Retro Small Appliances Collage Sheet
Vintage Transportation COllage Sheet

Vintage Ladies Collage Sheet #1I hope you like them.  My favorite is the vintage appliances, although I do love the ladies.  I really think they would look great colored in with Copic markers (if I only had some Copic markers, lol).  Will have to settle for my colored pencils.

I hope y’all have a wonderful week.

new blog page – free svg file for Sure Cuts A Lot

Posted by on Jun 10, 2010 in Cards, SVG/SCAL/SCUT | 2 comments

The last few days I have been kind of under the weather and dealing with some random person that stole my husband’s check card number.  What an ordeal.  We still have not gotten the funds back in our account.  I mean, what random overseas person orders Precious Moments trying to jack a person out of their cash.  That’s what they did.

Anyway, while I was sitting here, I had a million ideas running through my head.  Two of them I finally got to check off my list.  DONE – DONE – DONE as Steve Watson used to say on the now canceled Monster House series.    I got my etsy shop open.  I am selling my cards locally but one can only sell so many cards, so I have put my extras in my etsy shop.  I have more to add but its a start.  I put the little mini shop link in the side bar.

I also started a free SVG/PDF cut file page for Sure Cuts a Lot users.  I am not sure if they can be used in the Cricut software as I went right to SCAL.  I have quite a few ideas and files already done  and will be adding them as I go.  First one is the men’s loafer which I used for a cute Father’s Day Card.

I think my dad will like the card.  I wanted to keep it pretty simple as my father is not a frilly sort of guy and the card is quite masculine.  My next svg file will be for a chunky heeled shoe.  Its super cute.  If your interested in downloading the cut file, click on the tab above or under the SVG page on the right in the side bar.

Anyway, I leave you tonight with my sweetie.  I got my flickr pro account back working again so I got access to a lot of my old images.  Isn’t he just adorable.  LOL.  My little human.  I can’t say it out loud but he is the chosen one.

DIY homemade cling rubber stamp storage

Posted by on May 28, 2010 in Haul, Organizing, Tutorials | 0 comments

I recently received an order from River City Rubber Works (click here to see the stamps).  They sat on my desk for a few days and I just looked at them like gollum on the Lord of the Rings – my precious…  It was time today that I actually put them away to be productive this weekend as I just can’t seem to create in chaos.  I just couldn’t figure out what to do with them so I piled them up and threw them in a plastic bin where I was storing my completed cards and there just happened to be one of my laminated dividers at the front and one of the stamps just stuck to it and stick really good. I tested them out and figured it out.  Thirty minutes later, they were pretty much all organized and ready for a binder.  I decided to make a video.  Maybe it will help others.

Review: Singer Pixie Craft Sewing Machine

Posted by on May 23, 2010 in Haul, Product Review | 1 comment

While searching Big Lots yesterday looking for the Cuttlebug embossing folders/die cuts that they have on clearance (which I did not find), I came upon this cute little sewing machine made especially for crafts such as scrapbooking and papercrafting, etc.  I have two give it 2 Thumbs up!  I never realized how much a little stitching could add to a card.  I did a video review yesterday of it along with a few haul items from Big Lots which is below.  After I was done with the video, I played a bit with it before I got back to organizing my workspace and I really love it.  It’s a really basic machine but sometimes simpler is just better.  Please take a look below.

my May ATC yourpaperpantry swap result

Posted by on May 18, 2010 in Swaps, Videos | 0 comments

Over the weekend I sent out my May ATC swap cards. I was really happy that the host has already gotten them safe and sound and liked them. I, like I am sure so many of you out there (if your reading) are always unsure about what people are going to think about your art. Is it good enough? Did I do too much? Did I not do enough? Did I do it right? All things that run through my head when I send out my babies into the world. I hope my swap partners like the card. I really liked how they turned out. I figure if a pic speaks 1,000 words, a video should be way more. see below…
